Pawsly wasn’t created in a boardroom.

It was born in a small, cozy pet shop in Montréal, where every day for 12 years, we met pets and humans who reminded us of something simple and beautiful: life is always better with a furry companion.

For over a decade, our little store was a place where wagging tails, curious whiskers, and excited families passed through our doors daily. We saw shy kittens become bold explorers, old dogs rediscover comfort, and new owners fall in love with their first pets. It was more than a shop — it was a community.

And then, the pandemic hit.

Like many local businesses, we had to close our physical doors. It felt like the end of a chapter we weren’t ready to let go of. But what looked like a setback soon became a turning point — the opportunity to reinvent everything we loved, without limits.

When the world slowed down, we took a step back and asked ourselves:

How can we bring even more comfort, joy, and support to pets and their families?

The answer came naturally:

By going online… and building something even better.

Instead of simply reopening, we chose to evolve.

To take everything we learned over 12 years of real-world pet care — every conversation, every returned smile, every product that made tails wag faster — and rebuild it into a brand designed for today’s pet families.

Our little shop from Montréal now helps pets everywhere feel loved and understood.
